Despite our faults and sins, God wants to bless us. He constantly sets up blessings and sends them our way. Regardless of what we do or even if we fail to offer up gratitude, He blesses us just the same….because that is WHO HE IS.
Likewise, we must continue to bless others even when they have wronged us. This in no way excuses physical abuse or the right for us to defend ourselves. Of course we must protect ourselves….but when all is said and done, we must remember to bless.
When we release blessings on those who have wronged us, it releases the pain and hurt; it keeps us in the perfect position to keep receiving the many blessings that God has for us!
